John Coltrane documentary on December 18th

The new documentary, Coltrane's Philadelphia, will be the centerpiece of an evening hosted by the Music Department of the Free Library. There film will be followed by a Q&A with filmmakers Rob Armstrong and Tom Moon, plus Dr. Diane Turner, the curator of Temple University’s Blockson Afro-American Collection. In addition, a jazz trio (Elliot Levin, Bert Harris, and Kim Pedro) will perform, expressing Coltrane’s living legacy.
