From queer pioneers to Sex and the Single Girl to Deep Throat, International House’s Ibrahim Theater will get down to business with Free to Love: The Cinema of the Sexual Revolution. Rare screenings like Radley Metzger’s 1972 “porn chic” bisexual exploration Score (and a personal appearance from the filmmaker) will join banned films like Japan’s 1976 In the Realm of the Senses and favorites like Woody Allen’s Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex. The series will include commentary from many noted film historians, critics and curators.

Free to Love: The Cinema of the Sexual Revolution will run at International House’s Ibrahim Theater, 3701 Chestnut Street, from January 10th through February 15th. Tickets for individual screenings ($7-$9; free for members) are available at the box office, by calling 215-387-5125, or visiting www.ihousephilly.org/freetolove, where you can find the full schedule.
