The Lyric Fest song series continues its tradition of unpredictable programming with a Valentine’s Day program devoted to the pitfalls of romance — the “daydreams, denials, and disasters of love.” The world would lose half its best love songs if people always got what they wanted. Lyric Fest’s customary parade of arias and songs will showcase five experts in vocal romance, with one of Lyric Fest’s most popular guests, Richard Troxell, producing the tenor notes.

Lyric Fest's "Love with a Twist" is coming up on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 7:30pm at Lenape Valley Church, Doylestown, and on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 3pm at the Academy of Vocal Arts, 1920 Spruce Street, Philadelphia. Tickets are $25 ($5 for students). For tickets and more information, call 215-438-1702 or visit www.lyricfest.org.
