In a campy new take on everyone's favorite '50s monster, Yasuhiko Ohashi’s retelling of the story features a young woman who brings home her fiancé, Godzilla, to meet her parents, who are not pleased with her choice. Will love survive parental disapproval and Godzilla’s bad temper?

This student production will run Thursday, Oct. 31, Friday, Nov. 1, Saturday Nov. 2, Friday, Nov. 8, Saturday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the URBN Center Annex’s Black Box Theater (3401 Filbert St.). Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for Drexel students, faculty and staff with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased online at the Drexel Co-op Theatre Company website.

Theatergoers who arrive in costume for opening night (on Halloween) will be admitted free; the person in the best costume, as judged by the production and performance staff, will win two tickets to the upcoming production of the musical The Apple Tree.
