BSR meets G-Town Radio: Tune in online worldwide
Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye! On Monday morning, June 23, the sound from Germantown will be BSR.
That’s right: Associate editor Alaina Mabaso (yup, that’s me) will be braving the radio booth with Morning Feed host Ed Feldman for a special G-Town Radio show all about what’s new at Broad Street Review.
This episode of the Morning Feed is a great fit for a Northwest Philly audience because BSR editor-in-chief Judy Weightman, the world’s most assertive Quaker, lives in East Falls. And Germantown is one of my favorite Philly neighborhoods, from its history to its incredibly diverse arts and culture scene. When I’m not working for BSR, I write about neighborhood projects like the Germantown Town Hall Collaborative, the Germantown Artists Roundtable, Maplewood Mall’s iMPeRFeCT Gallery, and much more for venues like WHYY’s NewsWorks.
And just like BSR, while G-Town Radio’s focus is local, anyone can tune in from anywhere in the world, so this will be a great way to spread the many fabulous reads at BSR, from our dueling critics to incisive new commentary from Inquirer veteran Wendy Rosenfield and New York Times-featured humor writer Roz Warren.
Who knows where our Monday morning conversation will go? With Feldman at the mic, it’s impossible to predict. All I can tell you is that it’ll be fun. Hope you can join us.
Tune into a special Broad Street Review chat on G-Town Radio’s Morning Feed on Monday, June 23 from 9 to 10:30am. Here’s the link to listen live. In the meantime, check out G-Town Radio on Facebook and Twitter.
