BSR Scripts and Sips: Lauren Feldman's 'Grace, or the Art of Climbing'
I had the tremendous pleasure and privilege of getting to see this play brought to life for the first time here in Philadelphia.
Grace, or the Art of Climbing was produced by Miriam White and Nicole Blicher (Nice People Theatre Company) and directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. It featured an extraordinary cast and design team, all of whom taught me so much about the characters, the play's world, and also the blessing that is Philadelphia theater. It was that experience that tugged me back to Philly a couple of years ago, when I was looking for an artistic home. And I feel grateful to be here.
The version of the play I've submitted here is the post-Denver-Center production draft (for which I have Mike Donahue, Liz Engelman, Kent Lantaff, and the Denver cast and production team to thank). It's a great pleasure to share the script with you.
