Rod Bartchy has lived in Chestnut Hill since 2009. With degrees from the University of Delaware and Drexel University, Rod held executive positions in the environmental services industry, then worked as a chartered financial Consultant.

Now retired, Rod is active with Meals on Wheels, tutoring Philadelphia kindergarten and second-grade students through an AARP program, and pursues his passion of writing humor essays on experiences new and old. His work has been published in the Chestnut Hill Local, Humor Outcasts, and True Humor.
