Olivia Jia is an artist and writer who lives and works in Philadelphia. Her paintings, drawings, and sculptures reference sources such as fossils, archaeology, anatomy, and science fiction. She received her BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2016, and attended the Yale University Summer School of Art in Norfolk, Connecticut. She is a regular contributor to Title Magazine and has written several exhibition and catalog essays. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellowship (Yale Norfolk), the University of the Arts Trustee Scholarship, and the Alliance for Young Artists Scholarship.
