Ellen Wilson Dilks (she/her pronouns) has been active throughout the area as an actor, director, writer, and dramaturg.

Ellen Wilson Dilks has been active throughout the area as an actor, director, writer, and dramaturg. Past directorial credits include Permanent Collection, Our Town, and Almost, Maine at Players Club of Swarthmore; plus Childe Byron at Allens Lane, String of Pearls at Widener University, The Laramie Project at Celebration Theatre in Lansdowne, and Talking With at Narberth Community Theatre, among others. She served as assistant director for Run For Your Wife, Vanities, and Deathtrap at Hedgerow, in addition to ADing two Adult Theatre School class productions at People’s Light—working closely with Ceal Phelan and Peter DeLaurier. Ellen also worked as a teaching assistant and development coordinator at Hedgerow. As a performer, some of her credits include work with The Players Club, Hedgerow, and as a founding member of Cynergy Drama Group—performing in Hamlet and King Lear. Her most recent role was as “Mom” in Sam Shepard’s True West with Subscension Theatre Company for the 2018 Philly Fringe. In addition, she was a Barrymore nominator for three seasons and is presently writing a monthly arts column for Delaware County Magazine/Main Line Chronicles.
