Artists like Adebunmi Gbadebo and Joseph H. Conyers are changing the way we think about the art forms with which we engage. Gbadebo’s new exhibit takes us through the ways in which we use art—more specifically, materials—to remember through our ancestors. Conyers, founder of Project 440, is advocating for music education to be more than just about the instruments, especially for children and youths. Be sure to read up on their profiles this week.
The classical music interludes roundup arrives this week along with the monthly movie repertory. To complete the triple play, there’s also this week’s arts and culture roundup, too.
Be safe, Philly!
