Sometimes a theme emerges in each week's coverage, and today, it's major museum shows featuring extraordinary women artists in different media, all reviewed by women or nonbinary writers. Especially if you're not used to spending your time reading about art exhibitions, this is a great week to dive into some great writing about art, from Black American fashion designer Ann Lowe (who created Jacqueline Kennedy's wedding dress and should have been as famous as Dior and Chanel in her time) to a secret feminist debate club in early-20th-century New York City.
Looking ahead, our November BSR in the Wild will be hitting your inbox on Friday morning, and it will be full of announcements about some exciting new events as the year winds down, plus a subscribers' scoop on our upcoming BSR Behind the Scenes campaign, including early access to editorials for Friends. See you soon!
