Mid-January. It’s a curious time. The days are still short, the holidaze is just subsiding, and the flow of it all is returning, and we are two weeks into the new year. It’s the perfect time for reflection, and for considering how we want to move through our worlds in the near future.
I like to spend time with a speech or two from Martin Luther King Jr. on the holiday. And I also like to rest on MLK Day—it’s a good time to reset our connection with our values as we navigate the new year, the dreary winter, and hibernate before what’s going to be—if not already—a challenging socio-political year.
How are you preparing for this year?
