January can be a tough re-entry -- or a relief to folks who work hard throughout December, whether that means preparing and hosting holiday gatherings or a job that runs you ragged at the end of the year. However this week feels to you, we're glad you can take a few minutes with BSR.
Now that we're officially into 2023, our whole team wants to repeat our thanks to the donors who stepped up to support us over the last several weeks. This is a powerful measure of what our work means to Philly.
As one longtime supporter put it last month, BSR writers are sophisticated professionals, but they don't pretend that their opinions are the final word; instead, "they speak to the joy of being in the presence of art, happy to talk about the process of creating, while, at the same time, willing to be personal about the private pains of life."
