Well, it certainly feels like summer. Nothing like a heatwave to kick the season off, but the big star in the sky isn’t the only one bringing the heat. Chocolate Ballerina Company continues to break new ground and pave new ways for Black and brown dancers with its performance of Black Swan. Yes, that was a brilliant segue from heatwave to bringing the heat, but I can’t stress enough: stay hydrated, don’t overdo it, and be sure to look out for folks who are more vulnerable to the heat.
